Any Ethanol in Biodiesel

Mr. TWOGUNS, did Hunter mention what the cost of these are?

OK,
Cost is 125.00 - 150.00 $ >>>>
That is the model with the pump, four ports, 2 micron filter, and bowl .....
He said they also have indicators that go on them, which they were out of
when he installed this on this unit. Indicator will be on the this certain truck
come next week when they arrive....
Now this price don't include hoses, or mounting bracket, for of course, they are different applications.

Hunter said, Two hour labor time .... to do it right !!!

Two Microns
Two Hours

Thanks, TwoGuns. And I notice two wrenches, too!
Doesn't sound too bad, considering what they could save.
I wonder..what the original Kubota filter is rated? My M7040 does have the clear separator, (I've always called it a 'settlement bowl') that much I do know.

That is what we have always called it too, "a settlement bowl".
Funny that you mentioned that. For I know I'm not the only one have seen this. But I remember years ago, seeing the " settlement bowl" full of trash and junk, and the old tractors would still run like new. That is always got my attention. But now days, one can be clean looking, and the engines will have more fuel troubles than one wants to deal with ..... Crazy World !!!

LongBlackRam, I quess I was being a little sarcastic{to our allmighty rulers) about the fuel usage. I do agree ethanol is more of a pain then a help. Another question for you if ya don't mind. How well does the biodiesel work in colder climates? I have seen it up here half the price of regular diesel, but only for sale in the summer. I thought of mixing like you suggested but am afraid of clogged fuel lines injectors etc..

I have used B20 biodiesel as cold as +5 F without any problems. But then I always add the prescribed amount of Stanadyne Performance Formula to the fuel. It lowers the point where the fuel gels.

The B20 I used was purchased at the Pacific Pride truck stop nearby. It is premixed so I don't do the mix.

Sadly, Pacific Pride swapped out the biodiesel for clear premium. I guess I musta been about the only biodiesel customer...
