I was wanting to see about installing a turbo on mine . I was mainly wanting to see if anyone has done a new rtv x1100 because it looks to me to have less room than the older ones. I would also like to know how to turn up hydraulic pump pressure, I seen where people said that help on power. Any help would be appreciated. It just seem it needs a little more power to me. Thanks guys

If anybody would know it would be south west ag. Talk to Travis Imel . They have built a lot of them on the old style and turn up the pressure in the tranny you can do a burn out from a dead stop that much torque. The extra pressure voids the warranty. Kubota offers that engine in a turbo model on other applications just needs to be under 25 hp on the rtv to by pass the government regulations for diesel engines. I was wondering about the same thing with the less room if I upgrade I want a turbo on the new one also. You could also try Messicks they do them also. Let us know what you find out Thanks.

The Turbo doesn't add any mph it just help to maintain the speed that you do have in any circumstance. More mph cant be had by going to a larger size tire and increasing the pressure in the transmission. But that voids the warranty and can cause problems if you get carried away. These things are not made to be speed demon's but you can increase it some with some tweaking. But it is a risk and a expensive one if it goes wrong.

Just my 2 cents but....

Why not spend the money for the turbo (and the value of keeping your kubota warranty) on a rhino or some such to ride when you "feel the need for speed"

I turboed my 1100 (old model). Would not do it again. Follow Treehouse's post. Money better spent elsewhere....
