Best Wheel Tire for X1140 Utility???

RTV X1140 orange I just purchased new and would like to lift it 2" and add 27" turf style tires as it will spend a lot of time in our yard. Anyone have suggestions on a wheel tire combination?

Some have put 27" tires on 12" rims no issues.

new tires

Looks like 26 9 14 is the size michelin recommends for the x900.. max load is 715 lb. Weight is 57 lbs which seems high and is about twice the weight of the blackwaters. I would think gravel and mud would mess with the flex but I try to keep an open mind...lol

I don't have turf tires, but I did buy new tires on amazon and kept having to add air because I like to run over honey locust trees whenever I see them. my jeep tires are thick enough they don't care, but everything else does.

I put a gallon of Slime into the tires, more or less evenly distributed, and haven't had to add air since (months now of purposely trying to run over sticker bushes and honey locusts). I never go over 25, but at that speed, I don't notice any balance issues.

These front tires are so narrow on the stock rim that it looks wrong, but it's working fine. I bought the set of 4, but if I had it to do over, I would get a little wider front tire.

I have no trouble clearing the 26" tires with stock suspension. I haven't looked to see if larger tires might fit too.

Looks good. Can you tell me what you do with the mirror that appears to point down into the bed? Are you able to see what you're backing up to?

I'm thinking about upgrading from my 1100C to an X1100C for the better suspension. Do you take yours on rough terrain? Have you ever been in an old one to compare comfort?
 
The mirror appears to only show what's in the bed. I usually know what's there, useless.
I do like the suspension better on the X1140, yes I have the old style that blew a hole in the bottom of the transmission. I use ours for working around the 10 acres so it only sees work, so little really rough terrain. The new seems much better but I've not stuck it yet.... feels wider though.

If you put a normal rear view mirror up front, you can align it with the factory bed mirror so that you can see a work tool in the bed without having to physically turn around.

I use my RTV to spray herbicide, and the two mirrors allow me to see how much fluid remains in my spray tank, and visually verify that all my spray nozzles are working/not clogged. This setup works well for using a seed broadcaster too. When you're spraying product behind you, it's very bad to just keep driving, assuming everything is going to plan behind you when there's actually a problem. Either you're burning fuel while spraying nothing, or you're dumping chemicals too fast, or your're burning up your pump. Gotta keep a constant eye on the tool while also driving straight and keeping track of where you've been.

I'll admit, it took me years....literally YEARS to figure this out. That bed mirror is totally useless to me without being paired with a standard rear view mirror.

I would assume this was Kubota adhering to some type of vehicle class standard or something. When my RTV is all folded up in "2-seater mode", I can't really see shit behind me. In order to classify this as a piece of farm equipment instead of a recreational ATV, they probably had to come up with a clumsy way for the operator to see everything without the use of cameras.
