There is a member on another site, that says he seen a Kubota RTVwith 5675 hours on it. He was looking at it when one of the guys that runs them came over and toldhim that it was not the oldest one in the fleet! Said it is used bya railroad company everyday.

Now folks,THAT IS SOME BIG NUMBERS IN MY BOOK ON ANY UTILTY VEHICLE !!!!

O.K. lets say the rtv was traveling at an averages speed of 25 mph. ..5675 hrsx 25 mph = 141,875 miles. At 15 mph = 85,125 miles. etc. ...236 1/2 days = 5,676 hrs. And just think if it's under 1 year old it's still under warranty !!!!!

This post makes me feel good that I have a long future with my RTV since I have only 92 hours on my 2006[:D]coobie

coobie,

I agree, it is a great feeling knowing what kind of future the RTV holds for all of us >>>>>>

It is a great feeling knowing that you made a perfect decision on your investment !!!!

Wish all investments lasted that long !!!!!!

I've seen them with over 3000 hours, but never over 5000.
The bodies were abused but the engine was still running strong.
I picked up a Kubota G2160 for a friend the other day which has the next size smaller diesel. Although this one had low hours, they (was it you Neil?) have seen them with 5-6000 hours as well.

I've heard of some mining operation that put well over 1,000 hours on a RTV900 in just 2-3 months time...RTVs are certainly built Kubota tough.
