Blowing Pressure Hydro Filter rtv900

Hi Guys. First post. I have a rtv900w6. 1600hrs. Blows pressure side hydro filter. PM done at 1550hrs, used by the crew for 50 hrs and hydro filter split. We replaced the filter and it immediately blew out the gasket. I brought it in the shop and removed rear housing and hydro plate. Replaced housing gaskets and wear plates, because the wear plates were not perfect. Also installed a kubota yellow filter. Started it up and was bleeding the system (all 4 wheels off the ground), when I let the pedal return to neutral the oil filter gasket blew out. Took the filter off and reseated gasket. Removed charge pressure port and installed gauge. 500 psi at idle. I'm Lost. Any help will be appreciated. I inspected the 2 high pressure relief valves and they look ok. I inspected the charge relief valve and it looks ok too. I ordered 2 high pressure gauges to check the high pressure ports, but I won't get them until Wednesday. Thank you!!

wow 500 psi charge pressure!! interesting this happened within 50 hours of maintenance? what oil was used in the hydrostat? is it possible that someone got the oil from the wrong drum and put 50 wt or something in it? does this machine have a coast valve installed?

We use mile guard thf. We have 9 other rtv900 of different versions all using the same oil. Our kubota dealer gave his blessing. The one in question is a gen2 with the 2 plungers on the left side of the hydro plate. This machine does not have a coast valve. And no adjustment has been made to the top pressure relief. I’m at a loss.

Yep 500#. Turned the Napa filters belly button from an innie to an outie. I’ll take a pic of the brass plates tomorrow. They look like something forced its way through. Maybe the check valve section of the pr valve broke a piece off and isn’t checking anymore.

So I guess this is a new one for you guys too. Attached are the pics of the plate. I pulled one prv today, then got distracted. I bought 2 5000# gages and am going to adjust all linkage, and test balance. I’ll let you know what I find.

This thread had been stuck in my head

But I had blown air through all the ports when I had rear case, hydro plate, and oil cooler off. Everything seemed clear. But the obstruction was stuck in my thoughts. So I started taking everything back apart to recheck. My boss was walking by and I was explaining to him what was going on. I had a piece of trimmer string and was poking it in holes as I was talking. I had the check plug out for charge pressure and something felt funny. So I made a pick with a little hook and dug around. What it is, idk. But it was acting as a check valve letting air go both ways, but not letting oil pass in the charge direction.
