ok this is what i got i finished one bumper today and the thing should fit. the measurements for the mounting brackets are 28-3/8ths of an inch i know the beams on the bed of the rtv are 29 but i made it smaller because you can shim it .plus i didn't drill any holes in the mounting plates because i really don't know how far down it will need to go so i'm gonna leave that up to ya'll. now what i need is a person to try it. the finished bumper with paint and everything will be 80.00 but this one i will let go for 50.00 plus shipping because i need someone to try it out. now the way we can work it is send me the money for just the shipping and if it fits like i think it should then you can send me the 50.00 for the bumper.i would send it free of charge but i ain't rich .i'll have some pictures of it by the end of the day . note i will only do the 50.00 dollar thing with someone who has bought something from me before no new poster will be in on this deal sorry!! i can't take sending out something and it works but the person says it don't fit and i never hear from them again and they get a cool bumper for almost free see where i'm comin from. i will also like who ever gets it to let me know if the price is right or too high so they will be the genia pig .lol the bumper is heavy duty and i don't think you will bend it(maybe )but i dought it.it weighs about 35lbs/40lbs. i don't make cheap light stuff i make it to last.

Sorry I haven't kept track. Do I assume this is for a 1100 and not for a 900? It's a rear bumper, correct?

If it's for a 900 and for the rear, I'll take it!!

yes it's a rear bumper and it should fit the 900/1100 both. thats why i left a gap in the mounts so you could shim it with a washer or two.

here are some pictures of what it looks like tell me what you think.it's 52"wide and i made the gap in between the pipe big enough so that the tail lights will be able to be seen through the bumper.

ok i'm gonna go ahead and put in some cross braces for you today and dress up the welds that way if it fits all you gotta do is prime and paint it. hell i might even prime it because i hate to send something out naked.

ok here's the latest scoop on the bumper zoom-man has takin the plung for everyone. he's gonna go where no man has wenyt before. now i got a few emails from people saying the bumper was palin and hey i like feedback .without feedback we you won't get the bumper you want. so i went ahaed and dressed it up added some braces and cross braces too. now the price went up some with it but before you go and start screaming like before i stated if you can find a better built bumper for less or the same amount go for it but i'll put my stuff up against anyones stuff any day. now the new price for the bumper is gonna be over 100.00 but it's up to you guys to say how much over and i need youto be honest here because like i said before i don't make much of anything off this stuff and i only make stuff for ya'll. this same bumper that i make for the hpx's and xuv's i sell for 175.00 nut i don't exspect you to pay that much because i'm ya'll fab guy and i try to get the lowest price possible. if you take all the time it takes to make it and cope the pipes and sand and paint . then add in the wire and gas and electricity . not to mention i'm in a shed that has a heat range of 100+ degrees even 175.00 sound cheap . i can show you a stack of bumpers i made trying to get the right one and measurements i used up alot of metal to get here. so please after i post the new pictures later tonight let me know how it looks and what you think ,and what you think a fair price would be. remember i make this stuff from pictures that people send in i don't have a rtv i wish i did then it would be so easy to just back it up and make stuff for it . what i do is pretty much like someone sending you a picture of a truck fender and saying make me one that will fit. i'm sorry if i might have offeded anyone about saying i won't ship the bumper to a new comer but if it was you would you just send a prototye to someone who has one or two post ? i am aslo makin some hitch hooks for the recievers i made one for my rhino and it works great i'll post some pictures of it too later well i gotta go and finish this thing.

Tommy,

What's "palin"?

I just did some measuring. Your 52" and 28 3/8" should be perfect. How much gap is between the 2 tubes (top to bottom.

It does appear I'll need to replace my one rear light. (see pic).

If it's not too late, can a tab be tacked on to the back of the upper tube that I can drill a 3/8" hole through and mount a new (rectangular) back-up light to the bumper? As seen in the pic, it's currently mounted in about 16" from the left side of the bumper (assuming 52" total). If you've already started the finishing process, don't worry about it. I'll find a place/way to mount it.

"plain" i think it's 4"i'll have to check and yes i can put you a tab right in the middle for your light. how big is the light? anything else you want done to it just let me knowas you can see in the picture of the ones i made for the hpx.xuv's i put a tab in the middle for a light so i'll do the same for this one.

My light is 5"

Can you do me a favor? Put a tab in the middle and another 16" from the left side (of the total 52").

I'm not sure which location will work. Mine is offset to the left because if it was centered, it hits the hydraulic tank when you tilt the bed.

With a tab in 2 locations, I can figure out which location and light to use. (I have other, thinner lights I can fit between the tubes.).

i put two tabs for you and the measurment on the inside of the pipe is 2-3/4 inches.i though it was more but i remebered cutting it down some .

Thanks Tommy,

I'll go check stock and make a selection of which light I'll use (that fits in 2 3/4").

ok this is it with a half coat of paint on it .as for the price i'm gonna have to go with 155.00 for a finished bumper it should be the same price as the hpx bumper but i'll cut back a bit.there are some angles that take time to cope out and grind and it's time consumeing and takes blades do this is it. oh as for the tab that is 16"i couldn't put it because it was right behind a brace and the light really wouldn't have done much good there. i know there isn't much paint on the bottom because i need to finish painting it.lol

Might should think about a "coast valve" also, don't want no sudden stops >>>>> Also, might want to invest in a high rise air system, looks like you soon be a needing it !!!!!!!
