cavitation blues?

My x900 doesn't like going downhill. Whenever the descent is steep enough (not very steep at all) I can push the accelerator from idle to howling yet nothing happens until I get to levelish ground. Then she'll suddenly leap.
Fluid levels check OK; both tranny and tank. what to do? This is uncomfortable since when it "coasts" downhill the engine seems utterly disconnected from the wheels, all the modest braking I get is from the tranny over which I have no control (other than the brakes)
Any ideas?
I mentioned it to the dealer at service time - their excuse was that there was no hill nearby to test...

not normal and you will most likely trash the hst if this continues. double check the fluid levels and types. probably should change fluid and filters

That Kubota service session did all of those things- filters & fluids - but couldn't find anything wrong that they tested for.
I live on top of the mountain so anywhere I go I notice this.

did the dealer theck the charge pressure? did they put test gauges on and flow check? did they use oem fluid and filters?

Tell them to come out and see what you’re complaining about. It’s B.S. they don’t want to troubleshoot because they don’t have a “hill”.
