Clunking issue??

I'm reading about a wheel bushing issue causing slop and clunking on the RTV-x1100? Was this just a few early models or has this issue been addressed? Thanks as I'm looking to pick mine up this week!

I have also read about the clunking issue, I bought mine when they first came out and I have not had any issues with mine. I do not abuse it and use it mostly for plowing snow in the winter. All of the people that was posting this issue seems to have just quit talking about it. I would like to know more about the issue as well. I know this does not help and hopefully somebody that has a issue will speak up.

That's exactly what I was wondering, a lot of talk and then no answers ever came from it, so I did the logical thing and bout one today anyways!

the clunking was from forward and rearward movement in the front A arms. my dealer installed a machine washer in the front and back of both A arms and no more clunk. the rear has been a non issue for me at 2200 off road miles.

I just had mine in for the 50 hr service and showed them the slop in the rear bushing. I was told that it is designed that way and when there is weight on the suspension, there is no issue. They took a brand new machine off the floor and showed me the exact same play as what mine has. Someone on this forum took apart their machine after many miles / hours and found no visible wear on any of the components. This kinda supports what Kubota is saying.

I don't think the play in the rear suspension is going to be a problem although with time we will find out. all i can say is i use mine hard and carry allot of weight over rough pastures and i haven't noticed any changes in the suspension yet. my average MPH has been 7 miles per hour.
