Coast Behavior on X1120D

I understand that a coast valve can really help pre-RTVX models with the neck wrenching stop that comes from removing your foot from the go pedal too soon brings. On our '16 X1120D, in high gear, I can left off the go pedal and she coasts to a stop. But in low, it is still a fairly abrupt stop.

So here are my questions.
1. Is this low-gear behavior normal for an X model RTV?
2. If it is normal, would a replacement coast valve help alleviate the hard stop or is that already built into the X models?

I could live with this as is but when my Wife drives, it is an almost guaranteed trip for me to the chiropractor. Just want to make sure we've done all we can to reduce it.

Thanks in advance.

i don't have the coast valve on my X1100c but i do on my 2007 1100. the coast valve is great and i wouldn't hesitate to put one on my X

My 2019 x1100c coasts easier in High than it did when new. It has about 700 miles on it now. Low seems about the same as when new, you have to be careful. I actually wish High was the same.
I hope you enjoy your machine as much as I have.

Having an aggressive deceleration can be very helpful when “coasting” downhill... to prevent overspeeding and having to ride the brkes.
