D902 e4 idle issue

I have recently rebuilt, from the crank up a D902E4 engine installed in a newer RTV900. The engine had high hours and had lost #2 cylinder. Installed the rebuild engine back in the chassis and bled out the fuel system etc. Engine starts and runs like a champ with the throttle engaged 1/4 all the way through WOT. The issue im having is the machine does not want to idle at all. I have already changed the fuel priming pump and filter. This one has me stumped and i was wondering if anyone else out there had ran into a similar issue.
** machine will not start unless throttle is pressed when cranking**

Whats it idling at maybe it needs adjusted up 750- 1000.
I think I may have found the issue after all the diag, it seems that the customer had installed the fuel filter (cartridge type) without the center o ring causing it to lose fuel pressure to the pump. I will know for sure when my new filter and o rings come in today on the parts delivery. I will keep you posted, and thank you for the reply.

Hey man, those kinds of idle issues can really drive you nuts. Glad you think you've found the problem!

It's almost always one of those tiny, simple things that causes the biggest headache. I had a similar thing happen on my old skid steer. It would sputter and die, and I spent a whole weekend checking the big stuff like the fuel pump and injectors.

Turned out, it was just a bad seal on the fuel filter bowl letting a tiny bit of air in. A two-dollar part!

I bet that new o-ring will get it running right. Looking forward to your updates.
