Do you think this salt/sand spreader would be good for RTV

If you do buy one you will absolutely love it. Alcoa has a big plant near me and they use one of them. I think that they are made in Sweden or were in the beginning.

I'm anxious to get a price and lead time. Dealer has not called me back yet.

What state are you located in? I'm close to an Alcoa plant as well - upstate NY.

Well then you must be near Massena then. I am only 20 miles from there. Wouldn't it be grat if everyone was required to totally fill out their profile. I am in Northern NY 20 miles from the Canadian border.

We've got a bit of snow, yes. We probably have 5 inches from this last storm.

My son is at college in Canton. Going to school for Construction Management.

I worked at SUNY Potsdam for 29 years in the physcial plant. I retired 5 1/2 ago. SUNY Canton is an excellent college. They are always starting so many new programs there.

Yea, they do have some great programs. My son will be graduating this Spring.

You definitely put your time in. Now you can enjoy "free time". You must love being able to get up in the morning and saying, "what do I want to do today"....

Yes being able to do what I want when I want is great. The "boss" sometimes has a few chores for me to do. What kind of business are you in that you have a big parking lot to sand? We go thru Malone on our way to our daughter's in Peru, NY.My wife's folks started in Malone & Bangor many, many yearsago. Plumb Hill out in Bangor is named after one of her relatives.

I'm a pastor, believe it or not. It fell on me to find a solution for a grounds and maintenance machine. We already have a Cub Cadet tractor and a zero turn mower. We needed something to load up with landscaping tools and materials to run to the other side of the property, that anyone could operate, or to transport other things around the property.

We built our church 4 yrs ago and since then have constructed other buildings on the property. We are increasingly claiming more of our land for lawns, walkways, etc.

The RTV will serve as a plow and sanding machine, especially for the smaller areas, around buildings, sidewalks, etc., as well as the previously mentioned uses. Who knows what else? I'm sure we'll find other uses.

If you're in Malone, we're across from the Bare Hill Rd., about 1 mile out of Malone on Rte. 37.
