EV lawn mowers: Fad or useful tool?

They have now come out with battery powered ZTR lawn mowers. Anybody own one? How much grass can can one mow and how many high priced battery modules installed does it take to mow that much grass?
Another issue plaguing EV, is battery fires. Just like EV cars, electric scooters, hover boards, phones, etc, I would think that battery fires would be an issue, especially when you park the battery powered mower in a garage or a shed.
This was from 2022. Dewalt had an experimental battery ZTR parked out in the middle of the lawn, not running and not on charge at a trade show, of all places. The batteries developed a short and the thing burned to the ground, while fire fighters were dumping 100's of gallons of water on it.

I have been following the EV progress of cars and even the Ford F150 and I'm impressed. For me they are way overpriced and not something I'd consider buying at this time but I think in the not to distant future the technology will improve and eventually the prices will come down as they are accepted and proved to be viable.
I would think that a task like mowing and running a ZTR would be easier to make viable than a car. In part since the mower is a once a week two or three hour job. Currently the battery technology has the fire issues but I have hopes we will progress past that.
