Extra storage space in the RTV900 bed

I am considering fabricating a "false bottom" in the bed with two or three longitudal sliding drawers. Drawer depth approx four inches. Anyone have ideas or feedback. I do not want to lose space on the width nor on the length of the bed. The drawers will store tools, ammo, firearms/bows, or whatever.

Captain, I think I remember seeing something like that for trucks. It would actually slide part way out as a unit and make a work table- still having the drawers. I know this isn't exactly what you want but its just an idea that could be roll under a metal frame/top etc for weatherproofing?? . Anyways whether it slid out for a table or not ,it sounds very do able.http://www.roll-a-bed.com/?gclid=COj6uMiwzaoCFadgTAodwWz10g bordercollie

i seen the same thing border collie it was a slide out box about 4or 5"deep pretty nice lookin box if i might say .i just don't know what sight it was on.the only problem i could see with them is they was made from aluminum and to me if you dropped something on it the roller system might not work again as good.but they are a great idea one guy had his setup to carry his guns.
