Fan temp switch/ sensor

I'm in need of a fan temp sensor, the one beside the thermostat, that turns the fan on and off! The local kubota dealer wants $55 just for the sensor, thought there might be a substitute that would be cheaper. Any ideas? Oh 2006 rtv900 diesel

You should be able to find one on ebay. I found one for my old John Deere 332 diesel lawn tractor there. Probably around $20 but not likely oem.
