Ford and Allis

Finally! After being parked for 2 years I finally got time to mount my new rear power adjust rears to the Allis. The originals were so rotten from calcium, the last time I used it one literally crumbled apart. So got a new set of Alliance Farm Pro's (made by Yokohama who also recently bought Trelleborg and Mitas)

Used the Kubota to hold them upright while I reinstalled the center dishes, wedges and eccentrics.

Then fired her up and went for a ride around the property then a mile down the road to visit a neighbor.

So happy to finally have her driveable again. Now hopefully some day I get it all painted and looking pretty.

Took two of them out again before winter sets in. I wanted to get the Massey's out too to do some pics but it started pouring rain, so I had to put everything back inside.

My daughter took some more pics today with her better camera. And I made some yard art with one of the old Allis rims. What you can't see is the other side where there is no rim left around the valve stem from the calcium, LOL

You're not running calcium in the rims anymore, are you?
No sir! I said to my wife, I hope someone tries to steal that tire I put in the yard. I'd lake to watch them on the cameras trying to load it in their truck, LOL

But no, I don't want any more calcium. But now I will need to find steel weights if I go pulling with the Allis next summer. I still want try that at the fairs.

I use Rim-Guard in my rear tires for the ballast. Ballast off the 3-point if extra weight needed.
Be careful at the fair. The adrenaline will get you to push your tractor harder than you probably want. I've seen too many tractors at the fair dragged onto flatbeds... broken. :(

My Ford and my two puppies were on Max's Tractor Shed today on This Week In AgriBusiness on RFD-TV!
