I had most of what I needed laying around, and I am having an ever increasing hard time hand digging in my clay/chert soil, so I built what I call a front hoe.

That's unique! How hard is it to operate? I'm assuming you have to use your FEL's cyclic control valve with one hand then the other hand do operate the hoe. Hard to get used to?

Both the FEL joystick and the HYD outlets controls are on my right, so it is a little awkward to run. More practice will help. I just put it together, and have not done much with it yet.

And here I thought I was being original! I just searched "Fronthoe" and found lots of examples. Now that I have hydraulics out to the FEL, I can use other skid steer attachments or ideas. Doug

Sweet! Bet you'll have lots less blisters on yer hands after a long ditch or big hole, too.

Because it does not swing to the side, I think it will be more useful for holes rather than trenches.
