Welcome newt92/Dennis. :tiphat: Glade you found us. A lot of good people and great personalities. Good looking forks you built.

Also, looks like a pretty nice trailer peeking out from the shed. :hide: Hope your business starts out strong this year.

Welcome Dennis!

Hope you enjoy the time you spend here. Lawn care business huh? I'm guessin' you'll be gearing up for all the big fun here in a few weeks. It's ALMOST that time of the year.

Thanks for the welcome folks!!:tiphat: The season is around the corner whenever the weather decides what it wants to do. :snow: :umbrella: I like to start cleaning up yards around the first of march and start rolling yards. That takes me a month to finish then start mowing. I have about 20 different locations which add up to around 95-110 acres of grass that I mow every week. Average year I mow each location about 18 times, weather premitting. Residental and commerical jobs, 3 schools and a small cemetary. I also till some gardens in the spring (in my free time):yum: Once I start pulling equipment out of the sheds I will snap some pictures and show and tell. The trailer in the picture is a homemade 25' gooseneck I bought from a farmer not to far from me. I will be getting it out soon to get inspected so I'll get a picture of that too. I would do it today but its -1 with 25mph winds!!:soapbox: Brrrrrrrrrr! Talk at cha later!!

Dennis,
Welcome to NTT. As Jay stated, there are a lot of characters here. Some characters more colorful than the others.:yum::yum: I see you run two Exmark diesels.:respect: What did you have before them? I wanted to buy a zero turn diesel for home use, but didn't have the "funds" at the time to pay for the diesel, so I settled on a Hustler FasTrak with a 18 hp Honda and a 52 inch cut. I love it. I can mow my pasture with it!
hugs, Brandi

Colorful or idiosyncratic? :yum: :yum: :yum: I am extremely polysyllabic today:sorry: ; too much fuu-fuu :starbucks: :starbucks: :starbucks:  . Jay :letitsnow:

Just had a huge snow downburst outside and temperature dropped 4 degrees in 20 minutes. I was watching this baby coming in for the last half hour.

:tiphat: Hey Brandi, How ya doooin, As far as zero turn mowers I started out with a Kubota ZD-21 w/60" deck, ran it for 3 years and then bought a ZD-28 w/72" deck, Then traded the ZD-21 for a ZD-25 w/60 deck. They were great machines but the Kubota dealer all the sudden started treating me like crap so I started trading them for the Exmarks and really like them also. The Kubotas are the Cadillacs of zero turn mowers. Anyway if you have any questions about them or want a opinion I will help in any way I can. I have been running zero turns for about 10 years now.

Have a good one!!

Did the same here. Temp at 4AM was the days high. (33) Down to 23 now. It was 59 this time yesterday. The Mrs and I went out antique shopping today. While we were stopped at a traffic light, I watched a bank thermometer drop a degree every time it switched from time to temp. While we waited for the light to change, it dropped 4 degrees.

Also managed to get one of those "And I married YOU"? stares :stupid: from Leigh while we were shopping. I bought an antique barbers chair. :yum: It'll look SWEET in my office. VERY comfortable! I'll camp out in it when I'm watching NASCAR/college b-ball. Gotta gather up the troops tomorrow and haul it in the house.

Welcome, Newt!

Watch out for the "old member". You'll figure him out soon enough.

I'm down here in north Texas, and we had a nice weekend up in the 60s. The older I get, the more I'm glad to be out of those cold temps. Anyway, I cut a few places in a sideline business myself.

Take care, and welcome aboard.
Mark

Heck, I started the day in a long sleeve t shirt and sweater. A little while after starting working on the barn, the sweater came off, then I went in and changed the long sleeve t shirt for a short sleeve, then later I went bare footed outside. Today was almost as good.
hugs, Brandi
