Kubota RTV Recall Notice - steering shaft, RTV500.

Is this old news? I don't have a RTV so I haven't been following this forum.

I saw on another forum that RTV500 owners are starting to receive recall notices, come in for a steering shaft swap. Nobody linked a source so that's all I know.

Anybody know more? Am I repeating something already posted?

I received a letter last night about this in the mail, when i get home tonight i will take a photo of the recall notice and post it. My dealer said he will need to pick the RTV 500 up and take it to his shop to replace the steering shaft. The recall says the steering shaft could fracture.

Be sure the dealer does not charge you for pick up or delivery as the shaft can be replaced onsight very easily in about a half hour.

Here is a copy of the Mandatory campaign notice. My dealer told me that Kubota pays for the pickup and delivery when it is a mandatory notice. So no charge for pickup.

By the way,,,, saw the pics of your speaker box and mirrors that you shipped to someone on here, can't remember who. Very nice!!!!!

Maybe you should look into building "glove boxes" and "tool boxes". These machines definitely need storage space!!!!

I didnt get a chance to see the speaker box tool box.And recall Japan using Chineese steal????
