Lol, I am wondering the same thing. The video's say it so you can monitor what's in your bed. They have obviously never tried to use it for such. I am trying to figure a way to mount it as a rear view mirror, but the mounting doesn't seem to be compatible. I'll look again more seriously when it isn't so dad blasted cold!!
