Hi,
I'm new to this Forum and need help!
I have a L-48 TLB, it's a 2002 with 270hrs. I'm looking for help and options.
Want to add 3rd. function valve for loader to be able to run skid steer type attachnents, and remote valves at rear 3 point to run a hyd. log splitter.
The loader is a self leveling system.
Need help in what and where to buy, also tips on the install.

Thanks for your help,

Bob H.

Hi rugerman!!!! Welcome to Net Tractor Talk.
I don't know the answer but wanted to welcome you to NTT.
Someone should be along shortly with some info for you.

I just got rid of an 01 L48 with third valve. I had it installed by the dealer with a second lever instead of a Fauss valve/electronic switch. Don't remember the original cost,, Think it was around 400.00

Get the dealer option 3rd value kit, much easier to deal with and bolts easier than aftermarket.

Thanks KubotaTech,
Is there also a rear remote valve kit for running things like a hyd. log splitter etc.?
If you know approx. cost for each of these, and is it pretty easy to install ones self?

Thanks again,

Bob

PM me your email as the site limits .pdf files to 200kb and these instructions are larger.

Remote valves for hydraulics

After looking around for what was available for the front outlets for my L39 I installed the Kubota TL1715 Front Hydraulic Valve Kit. It was the best option for the money and installed easily.

The Kubota rear hydraulic kit left something to be desired. It only came with three double acting, spring-centered valves. I wanted a joystick for operating a set of top and tilt cylinders, along with a single DA valve for operating miscellaneous cylinders and a motor valve for driving hydraulic motors and remote valves such as a log splitter. I couldn't find anything that I liked so I designed my own.

The unit that I came up with has four stacked valves. This was done to provide options for selecting combinations of double-acting, single-acting and motor valve with or without float options.

I just got the support frame parts back from the powder coater yesterday. The assembly goes to the hydraulic tube vendor for plumbing this coming Monday. Hopefully, the unit will be mounted and functioning by the end of next week. Delivery of the tilt link that I ordered is still a ways out so the full test of the system will have to wait. I will post some pictures soon.

When I bought my new M7040 2 years ago, I had the hydro plumbed to the front for a claw. The elec switch mounted on the joy-stick, cost I think was about $1200. No idea on the rear, or any thing about them.

Oh yea, welcome to the forum!
