Looking at buying a 2016 x1100c.

not hard, however the head gasket rarely goes bad. Usually, it is the head that cracks when they overheat. Also if it has been run with the cracked head, check the compression because it isn't uncommon for the connecting rods to bend.

Good to know
Guy said it blows white smoke and starts to overheat pretty quick- 2700 hours and 14722 miles
New tires a, alternator, and battery

Kubota rates the engines for 5k hours. so by that standard the engine is about 50% used up. I have however seen them go to 10k with proper maintenance. I would be worried about the Hydrostat unit without proper maintenance the like to grenade. They are about $7k to replace. I bought mine with a blown-up hydrostat caused from poor maintenance, but I paid $3k for it.
