Looking for feedback on snow plows

Hey Cheerio Kid, Do you know how hard it will be to take the plow hitch off and put the brush guard back on? I saw in the paperwork for the controller that there was an optional part call a hydraulic quick disconnect. Is this something that could makle it easier to remove all the hydraulics? I really want to find a way to put the guard back on.

I just took my Quick Hitch off this morning for the first time. I hand wrenched it and it took me about a half hour. Should go faster the next time.
The part is actually called the Hydraulic Removal Kit (V4304)
On the RTV1100 it mounts underneath on the differential guard.
It is a bracket that will secure the 3 hydraulic hoses with their quick couplers when you disconnect them from the Hydraulic Block on the Quick Hitch Assembly. A good idea since it will hold the hoses securely when the Quick Hitch is removed.
There are 3 hydraulic hoses that the bracket will secure. 2 of them will need to be coupled together BEFORE you start your engine..(I think it was the red female hose coupler and the green male hose coupler). This is because the hydraulics are Open Center type.

Yep, that was the part I saw. Thanks for the info. My local Kubota dealer doesn't always have all the answers, sometimes I feel like I know more then them about my 1100, mine was the first V-plow that they ever put on.

I went to the dealer very well informed because of this forum and the people on this forum. Doc, his moderators, and all the nice member's posts is an Online University in itself.
