Supposedly the rear tire size is 10-28. Many sources says 12.4x28.
Present old tires are 12.4's. There is also a few sizes in between.
Any opinions as to what to use. What would be an accepted wave:tire width range? Prices and availability varies as well according to the different sizes.

10-28 is what the data page shows, I put the 12-28's on my 9n I use to have and it did fine. Depends on what you want & need really

i had a 1952 8-n and have had 12-4-28 on it and were loaded... it was the perfect weight balance for it..it would pull anything that the motor would allow it to pull. it was perfect

Old tire size 10-28 is new tire size 11.2-28. Old tire size 11-28 is new tire size 12.4-28. You should keep both tires the same size. Either size will work as long as they are the same.
