Mud flaps for X1100C

Mud season is approaching so I have been working on adding mud flaps to my new X1100C. I made rear flaps the same way I did for my old X900 - cut 3/16 rubber matting to shape and pop riveted to the fenders. I had them on my X900 for 7 years and they were as good as new when I sold it. These reduce the splash up on the tailgate when the tailgate is down. - not perfect but really helps. The front ones were a bit more of a challenge so I looked at what Kubota had and what they offer costs $127.00 without shipping. I did find that Coleman (a good company) sells the front mudflats for the 1100 (old style) for only $42.00 -shipping included. So I gambled that I would figure out a way to make them work. Easy job! The mud on the bottom of the door is from before I installed the mud flap. No more mud on the door now!

I still want to do something like this. When I bought my 1100 I asked dealer about the Kubota mudflap kit but they are $300 here in Canada. No thanks.
