New Add-Ons to the RTV-1100C

Hello Folks,

I thought I'd share some bolt-ons I installed this past weekend.

UTV Hitchworks - Skid plate and receiver extension
UTV Hitchworks - Transmission cover
Side mirrors from The Mirror Guys
Slow-moving vehicle sign

Great machine so far. Off to a slow start with it not starting and front PTO being installed improperly but they made it right. Fun fun!

Nice. Before spring I want to get the Skid plate and receiver extension and the slow moving vehicle sign. Really since Kubota insists on keeping the vehicle slow so it can use that sign they should provide on with the RTV like they do with a tractor.

Do you do lots of riding on rough terrain? Is that the reason for the tranny cover? I don't think I have a need for that but ....maybe I do and just don't know it. :pat:
 
Doc, I don't really have a reason for buying any of what is in the pictures other than I like toys and add-ons and new shiny things. Haha.

Actually, I like that the hitch receiver is farther out now. From factory, it's too hidden underneath.

The Hitchworks rear plate is primarily to protect the transmission from backing into a trailer-hitch when hitching-up, I believe. I pull a trailer around the ranch for firewood, brush, etc. and I’m always worried I’ll damage the aluminum tranny if I miss the hitch and ram into it.

Great add ons. Do you find any rattle with the top piece/transmission cover? I had this combo on my RTVX900 and it would rattle due to vibrations.
 
I don’t hear any rattling so far. It is bolted in three spots and is tight. It’s attached to the muffler area with an included bolt and spacer.
