I spent the week participating in an eBay auction for the Kubota V4271 hi-rise air intake assembly. Well, someone that apparently was not aware of the MSRP purchased the assembly.
I'd decided to go the frugal way and add ABS pipe to extend the suction point above the high dust area. A last minute decision led me to calling the local Kubota dealer to price the V4271. I guess I was lucky that the parts guy was out to lunch. The service manager was filling in for the parts guy and mistakenly gave me a discounted price. $163 and some change.
Yep, you guessed it! The V4271 is now installed on the RTV 900 XT.
