16000 ?

Is the specific gravity line missing?

Trying to make sense of it,,,whether it is worth changing too. I will have my first service in 15 hours or so....

Extreme weather (really hot or cold climates) or working the RTV hard regularly. I'd also recommend it to those that change their fluids beyond the Kubota recommendations (myself included) :hide:

So reading around on the Internet some people are claiming super udt 2 quiets the hst whine, I'm going to try this on my bx2200, and see what results.

I just did my 400 hour fluid change and used the new Super UDT2. I wanted to be as objective as possible about realizing any benefits, but I am sure that getting it into and out of gear is easier now than it was with the old fluid. My wife drove the RTV all morning today and made a comment about it shifting easier. Does anyone else have these observations? Or are we having LSD flashbacks? Ha!!

Interesting. I'm hoping it's true. I would change fluids for that reason alone if it helps.

I am only 1-2 hours from my 50hr service. I bought the udt2. Mine shifts so easy now that I doubt I'll see any difference, but I'll report back.

I would advise to go back with the OEM Kubota transmission filters.
They work better and give better flow than any other filter.
More flow, more power !!!!

Would like to know who makes the filters for KUBOTA !!!

I 2nd that. While I like Wix filters, I did notice that my oil light stayed on for a second or 2 every time I cranked the RTV when I had put one on in a pinch.( thought I had an oem ,didn't so ran to the farm parts store and got the Wix for my model) I change back as soon as I could get a Kubota oem , and it went back to normal....This was the engine filter and was only a dollar or 2 dollars more that the Wix... bordercollie

That's interesting, BC. I've noticed lately my light stays on longer than it used to. I'm sure it's a 'bota filter, but will double check, might change it anyway just to see.
It's only been about 200hrs since last oil/filter change. I still can't figure out why they want the oil changed every 300 hrs, but the filter @ 600. I know some say the oil, or additives, is what wears out, but if the oil is dirty, filter is too.

I agree red. I can't change oil without changing the filter also. I need a change now and was going to do it today after work since we are in the 60's here today ...but I can't find my filter. I 'thought' I had bought an extra filter last time I was doing a change, but maybe that was two times ago. :pat: It's hell getting old. I try to document more and more but I did not document whether or not I bought the extra filter. LOL
