After considerable research and penny 'collecting', I at last have a new 2012 RTV1100.
Actually the 'research' part of my decision making in regard to the RTV was pretty straightforward, so on that part there is no need to preach to the choir.
I talked at length with four Kabota dealers that carried the RTV lineup. In the end I choose a dealership (although not the closest) that gave me the best deal and appeared to be the most knowledgeable and honest. Example: I didn't get the keys to the locking cab doors and when I mentioned this later to the saleman he agreed it was his oversight and please accept a Kubota hat to make up for it. Picking the right place to purchase a RTV or other expensive piece of equipment means more than getting the lowest price.
My RTV1100 is a plain orange vanilla model with worksite tires. It also has; front mud flaps, high rise air cleaner kit, front and rear work lights, parts list and workshop manual (Messicks), outside door mirrors, rear utility screen, 4-way and turn signal kit.
Note to self: Contact Peanut and order a set of stick stoppers.
Many thanks to all my friends here on the Forum who helped spend my $$$$
To date I have only one small issue. When the fuel gauge touches the "red", I still have about 1/2 tank left. I can live with that. Everything else exceeds or meets my expectations. Coast valve-non issue, it slows to a halt almost gently, key switch-up out of the way, top speed-28 mph on the flat, fuel cap-easy on/off, power up/down hills-plenty, shifting-most times without effort (other times I need to take load off tranny to shift gears), heat/air- sorry but ya gotta love it,
Of course I'll be looking for other tires, lights, radio, ect, ect, ect.
