I was at the local Kubota dealer who is also the Terex ASV dealer. While I was there I notice that the new RTV 900 no longer has the trans pressure dump knob on the dash. Has Kubota solved the hard shifting??????

They have supposed to have changed that up somehow,
Something in the area of having something where it could be done when brake pedal is applied , I might be wrong on this , but seems to be what I was told !!!!! I will have to check into this !!!!!

......... two guns

The pressure relief knob was replaced with a brake pedal pressure relief mechanism. Not sure how it works however because my '04 model has neither knob or pedal activation.

Good day. This is my very first time to do this, so if I'm doing something wrong, please let me know.

I just took delivery today of a 2010 RTV 1100. I can confirm that there is no pressure relief knob. They say use the brake. It works pretty well. Also turning the steering wheel, but generally I just get it almost in gear and, if it's being cranky, I give it just a bit of "gas" and it pops into gear. I think as long as I remember it's a tractor and not an ATV it won't bother me a bit.

Hope this helps.

I also saw this on a new 900. I was at the dealer trying to order a replacement relief cable but the parts guy couldn't find it. We went outside to the lot and sure enough, no cable on the new unit.
WTF?

Yup!!! The 1100 and newer 900s do not have the pressure relief knob as the function is now incorporated into the brake pedal.
