Welcome to the forum! :tiphat:

I can't help with the threads. Someone who either has changed one or has the manuals should be along shortly.

Perhaps, one can take out the existing one, measure it and see what you have. Or, perhaps, one can actually take it to a vendor that has the sending unit you want and there, match it up with what you have...........

I know it's not telling you exactly what you want; but for me......it's the easiest.......God bless.....Dennis

I have taken sensor to supply stores, nobody had anything that would into the block, thank"s to all for your help.

It looks like the sender is about $26 at Messicks. If nothing else works, I'd order one and see what the thread size is, or you could take your's to the hardware. It appears to be a tapered thread but hard to tell from the picture. If it's uncommon, not NPT, then take your old one, break off the non-metal parts and weld on an NPT coupling. You can then use the oil gauge plumbing. If it's NPT then just buy a Tee with the appropriate fittings and keep the OEM sender and add the new gauge.

I'll bet it's NPT, if not you may be able to use the same trick and tap an adapter to the metric size and keep both, which is what I would recommend.

Metric taps are usually available locally or off the net. For one use, you can usually find one cheap enough.
