Power washing rtv1100

Well, i changed oil today and left the dipstick out while engine was running. It sprayed oil out onto everything. The engine was dirty from the dusty summer and needs cleaned anyway. Is there anything i need to watch out for when i power wash it clean again?

On my 900 that is a vent and to add oil to the transmission. Unless it has alot of oil on it I would use an air compressor.

I've washed mine with a power washer many times. No plastic used. Don't concentrate spray on fuse box, air cleaner inlet, alternator. Run it up to operating temp after to help dry. I go for a road lap. Then grease/oil all the normal service spots.

I use the leaf blower for drying. I can get all the little areas on the whole RTV.

I like to hit the metal areas with Fluid Film after it's all dry.

I use the air compressor and long blow tip to blow water away and remains of mirt (dirt and mud). collie

Has anyone had a failure after washing? I have not.

Same with my tractors. They get washed 4-6 times a year with logic applied where I point the washer.
