radiator dust

just thought I would throw this out there - bought a new 2013 1100 - I drive on our deer lease a lot and the roads are dusty plus I go through high grass at times with seeds. Dust was covering my radiator and causing my buggy to overheat - plus the air conditioner in front was getting grass seeds in its coils.

I bought washable, reusable air conditioner filters - on the air conditioner I just used the plastic ties and placed it behind the bumper in front of the air condtioner - works great! catchs most all the grass seeds, etc.

On the radiator I bought a washable filter and cut it to size (around 14x14) and just set it in front of my radiator coils - catches most all the dust - I just spray the filter out after use and I have been good to go

Great thinking !!!!
Take care of it, it will take care of you >>>>>
We have found out down here, when they burn off wheat fields.
On RTV 900's, the ashes will suck up in radiator and stop it up.

Stay out of the ashes .....
