New 1100 with fluid coming back down the outside of the differential vent line. The line terminates under the hood. I cannot see the end. The diff is properly service with 600 ml/ per the manual. I drive it a few miles and SUDT is flowing down the line making quite a mess. Also both seals on the power steering actuator ram are leaking. It has been -15 to +20F here lately. Any ideas on this? I had to have this rig flown in so the dealer is not an option at this point.

Did this start right after a service, or how many hours do you have on the service work. I don't have a 1100, but I will ask around on this ~~~~

What are your fluid levels now, are you talking about a lot of fluid, or just some residue ? Does it leak when the machine is warmed up ?

Rig has 20 hours on it. It was properly serviced off the plane. I watched the dealer service it. I drove it for two days. 8 hours total. Then saw the fluid pooling under the front. It was everywhere, including running down the drive line and on both front axles. I drained what was left in the front diff. It was gray looking and totaled 16 ounces or 4 short of max.. I cleaned the front andserviced the diffto the exact specified level. Drove it home 5 miles and saw no leak. Parked it overnight a -5F plugged in. I drove it 5 miles back to work and saw the same mess again. The foam around the rubber vent line is soaked and dripping. I now have made a visual on the termination point of the vent line and it looks fine and dry.

Gray and foamy normally means that water has been introduced.

I need to think about it more...

It does sound like water has made it's way into it >>>> The foamy substance is probobly what mostly is what is overflowing >>>>>

Have you thought about completly changing the fluids again ? I would save a good sample of the fluids that was removed, and where if you wanted, you could have a analysis run on it ......

try draining everthing out and set outside to freeze. you will know if you have a water issue.are you sure of the viscosity and pour point of the fluid you are running?if you are getting a lot of water it is most likely from submerging in water and not just condensation from temp. extremes. keep us posted.
The rig is new. Never been in water. Level and fluid arecorrect. I cleaned it up, drove it yesterday and no leaking down the breather. I parked it all night at 15F, drove it 5 miles today and the leak is back. SUDT flowing down the breather line from the top where there is a red cap on it.

Thank you for your input.
