RTV 1100 question

I am looking at a 2007 1100. I want to get a Boss V plow for it. Do the 1100s already have the HD front struts/springs? I thought maybe they would to handle the weight of the cab.

Thanks!

Thanks! What are some common issues I should look at on a 2007 1100? It has 200 hours. Did the early 1100 have the pressure relief knob to help change gears?

If I were you I'd look for a driver's side window to act as a cabin pressure relief valve. Love having the opening windows, but I don't use the passengers side very often.

1100

I am looking at 2 different 1100s. One is a 2007 with 200 hours and the other is a 2009 with 297 hours. Is there anything I should look for or check on these? What are some common issues?
Thanks!

I had a 2009 and really liked it. Kubota makes small improvements each year so I would prefer the 09 over a 07 just for that fact.

Thanks for the advice! I am really leaning towards the 2009 1100. I also have a lead on a 2009 900. What is the fuel consumption difference between the 900 and 1100?

Thanks
James

Regard fuel economy, I can attest to the frugal nature of the 1100. Even with a very small tank, it seams to go forever on a fill. Two weeks worth of a couple hours every second days snow clearing and I still have plenty left.
I've never owned a 900 but would only guess they would be even better as they are lighter and make less horse power.
But in my humble opinion you can't go wrong with the 1100 for economic(once you regain consciousness after the salesman tells you the show room price) or any other reason.

Both are super machines. We own a 900, and have put many hours in a 1100.
Don't think there is enough fuel comsuption difference to even throw the dice.

It is just what application you are using them for. In my case, the 900 fits the purpose. I'm in and out of the cab so much, the doors would be nothing but in my way.
Where I can see myself purchasing a 1100 if there were other things in my life going on other than the things I was doing. That cab air / heat would be a life saver for many..............
