RTV 1100 Radio Connector

TWO GUNS

To keep from cutting the OEM connector wires off , this is your answer, done some research, and this is what I came up with >>>>>> Think it's less than $3.00

Also, found on this forum a color code :

Black---------------------------Ground
Red with white stripe------Always hot
Green with white stripe---Hot in accessory position
Yellow-------------------------Left speaker
Yellow with red stripe-----Left speaker
Blue----------------------------Right speaker
Blue with white stripe-----Right speaker

The RTV 1100 wire harness is wired for the radio,

Speakers are already installed >>>>

Note: I wired the radio direct to the hot wire, not to the accessory position !That way, when the engine was turned off, and I still wanted to listen to the radio, I wouldn't be running the HOURS up on the machine and it not running >>> Remember, if you turn that key on the accessory position, the hours will be a clicking on, running the hour meter up !!!!

Good morning, will this wire connector let me go to Wal-mart-buy radio- and plug it in to the OEM connector? Thank you in advance for your help.

Don't really know, BUT, you can plug this in to your OEM plug that is installed on your unit, and then do your wire cutting and splicing on this little item other than your machines wire harness. Or should I say, plug this into the machines harness, and cut THESE wires to connect wires to ANY radio.....

Some folks don't like to cut into OEM harness', this will keep you from doing this >>>>>

Hope this answered your question [:O]

Two guns,

Hey, thanks again for some great info. It's no fun hacking up the factory stuff. I wonder if this is a common connector, I means the 9 pin on the RTV side.

Hey guys, if it helps, the OEM connector is Toshiba. Not sure if all toshibas will fit. But did find that out in my explorations. A good shop will slice the coating and splice into the wires below your harness with splice and if resold, no one would no any different. Just another thought.

TWO GUNS,
The connector link does not work anymore.
Do you have any info on the 9 pin radio connector itself - part number
