After reading most of the reviews I havnt found anyone that has used their stock wheels with a 27" tire. I am purchasing the Bighorn and need to gain some ground clearance so I am choosing the 27 x 9 for the fronts and 27 x 12 for the rears and want them put on my stock rims. Has anyone done this and if so, wasa lift kit required and/or a wheel spacer used? These are the tires I want and the 589 are awesome also.

I run 27-10-12 on my 1100 and have no problems.......plus I have Peanuts (Tommys) stick stoppers that work great. I have no problems turning in a tight radius.......

ole rusty them new stoppers are gonna be done soon i'm just holding out on the hopes that the new 1100 deal will go through we gonna be in for some real nice goodies really soon. as for as the 27" go with 26"s your only gonna get maybe 1/2 extra clearance with the 27's and that 1/2 " won't stop you in the mud .

Do we here at CTR still have a post where all the items one puts onhis / her RTV in listed ? For some reason, I cannot find it ...

And, I still cannot get forum emails when a new post is summited >>>Now, I did see two pop up yesterday, but that is the first in many weeks >>>> even have checked all the proper things and still don't work >>>>

........... two guns

Don't do the 27" tires if you use your bota for work. The bigger tires change the gear ratio and you loose lots of power (torque).

Welcome to the forum.

I have 25" (25x10x12) Bighorns on my RTV 900.

I'd have to find the thread but recall that the Bighorn's run tall. As I recall, my 25" actually stood about 26.5" tall. I don't know if I'd go any taller than that. On my 900, without the heavy duty front struts, I'd get an occasional rub under heavy load when turning. I installed the lift kit which fixed that issue. Given the choice, I'd try not to get tires that require the lift kit. It does raise the center-of-gravity and does increase my pucker factor when on the side of a hill.
