RTV 500 Cooling Fan Running Constantly

New to me RTV 500.

The little cooling fan under the seat runs constantly. Pretty annoying. I tried switching relays to no avail.

Any problem with just pulling the fuse? The radiator fan will still work...temp gauge only ever gets a needle width off the bottom anyway.

probably a bad sender. i wouldn't disable it but i am unfamiliar with the 500

Temp sensor has failed. Simple fix. Inexpensive.

I replaced the temp sensor and the fan still runs all the time. Any other suggestions?

I am no expert but in addition to the temp sensor, is there a fan relay? Or are they one in the same. Also, do you have any way to check the actual temp of the coolant after it warms up. Hope this helps.

I've swapped relays as well and the fan still runs.

Bingo, the sensor works by completing the ground so there's current flow to ground somewhere in the wiring.
