RTV 900 Transmission Problem

Hello Kubota-Owners,
we are facing some transmission-problems with one of our RTV900. It drives more or less normal on even ground and downwards. But uphill we only reach 7 MPH with full idle speed of the motor without any reduction of motor speed. Compared to the 2nd RTV 900 we own thats much slower.
We checked the pressure of the hydrostatic and thats within the range of 230-270bar (value and test from the workshop manual). Is this the correct setting?
From my point of view something is wrong with the setting of the hydrostatic controller, as we have full motor idle speed, Hydrostatic reach full pressure, but with limited velocity upwards. What do you think?

Thanks for your help
Thomas

Might be that 'thing' in the muffler that when it gets clogged up it steals power. Dang if I can remember the name of it though. :bonk:

Your pressure is ok. Sounds like the control linkage needs adjusted. Disconnect the hst speed control lever from the rod. Disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle control lever. Adjust the speed peddle stop all the way down.. push the peddle gently down until it stops and then adjust the peddle stop until it comes into firm contact with peddle. With the peddle held firm against the newly aquired stop position adjust the rod and hst speed control lever to the max fast travel then just barely back off tighten jamb nut. Reconnect and adjust the throttle cable so that the throttle lever is just touching the high speed stop. Release the peddle and test
