RTV Body parts needed

Don't know but I'll bet there's a story behind this. Want to share?

I have a brush guard sitting on a shelf that's bent a little on one side. Unless you're close, shipping may cost more than buying locally. Where are you at?

I'm over in N Kommiefornia. Looking at a smashed up RTV and wondering what it would cost to fix. Front end, bodywork and Grill Guard are toast. Frame is twisted as well.

I saw no problem until you got to the twisted frame.

If you're getting it for cheap it may be a nice project but I wouldn't touch it unless it was REAL CHEAP.

Sounds like a machine that's good for parting out.

I managed to bend my tailgate last spring (note to self: Do not raise box with tailgate hanging free and receiver hitch on...). It is only cosmetic, but I would not turn away from a really good deal on a non-bent tailgate...

Maybe a tailgate?

Project may be dead. Parts are astonomical!! Shipping on one item (front bonnet" is 50% of $400 part cost!. Kubota controls prices and even access to diagrams. Even parts #s keep changing so tough to deal with. Frame twist/bend would require body shop hydraulic bender to straigten out. "Coup de Gras" has been administered. Thanks all for comments and offers.

Why not buy it and part it out? Or take a garden size tractor and drop the engine and tranny in there?

Too much work for these old hands. Chronologic Deterioration has taking its toll on me. The reason for my RTV purchase in the first place was the power steering and power dump. Thanks again for help.

Sounds like a good place to use some aluminum and make a buggy out of it. You could always use some plastic sheets too....just straighten the frame as best you can and go with it. :brows:
