RTV bogging out...

The cap vents just may be the answer here. I blow the little openings out on mine whenever I change the oil. That diesel and dust can clog them up quick.I use a rubber strap wrench on mine.I keep it under the seat. Rusty Anvil ,my Dad has had it about 12 yrs. He had a pace maker put in in '94 and has had several light strokes. He still manages though. If you would like to know more just tell me and I will send you a pm on his medicine and results. He(81) has had good results on the shaking with some of it. Bordercollie [&][&]

You might put the cap on really loose so that air can get by the threads and then try to run it - in a smooth level place...

If it only started doing this since it got cold, you might want to suck
out half or more of your fuel and fill it with kerosene. this
will eliminate gelling of fuel. take the cap inside house and let it
warm up and see if you can shake water out of the vent. warm up up the
tank with a heater (carefully) and see if you don't have an ice cube in
fuel line that shuts it down when you try to go.It sure sounds like ice
problem or something plugging the fuel line. have seen this on
tractors, backhoes, skidsteers. start at the tank and work your way thru
fuel system. I dont know if these things have a strainer screen on the
fuel pump inlet but that is another problem I have seen over the
years. Bill B.
