Read where Kubota has a Premium fluid. Suppose to be made in Canada. They said it is not SUDT re-branded and the smell is different. Synthetic, It is not SUDT. Has a higher viscosity. It was stated that it performs notably better in the extreme cold weather. Made there machine run so much better !!!!

Might be the answer when running in cold weather up north !!!!

It is a fully synthetic oil. SUDT is not. It performs notably better in extreme cold. I am in -20 to -30 F now. The RTV 1100 is like a new machine.

Just so happens that I picked up a 4 litre jug (gallon) of PREMIUM UDT yesterday at the dealer as I needed some to replace fluid lost due to a hydraulic hose rupture on one of my other Kubotas. At least at the dealer I do business with, thats the only fluid you can buy for Kubota equipment. I think this is true for all dealers in Canada??They don't sell UDT or Super UDT... Only Premium UDT.. Its formulated (according to the label on the container) for sever cold applications but can be used all year round. Been using it for quite some time now.
