RTV gun storage location

A few weeks ago in the RTV I had my rifle beside me leaning up against the seat (unloaded of course). I was going full speed in high gear when on a curve in the road the gun went flying out the doorway. It did about 4 cart wheels. I hit the brakes....went back and picked it up. Slush, snow, dirt everywhere. Barrel plugged with slush. I wiped the gun and unplugged the barrel. Put in a round and pulled the trigger and kabooom! No problem. It is a sporterized SKS. That got me thinking about proper gun storage. The best idea I came up with is to mount the guns on the ceiling of the cab. Has anyone done this? Do they sell a velco scabbard or something for there? HELP!

Here's another solution:

I hung one of these:

from my rear screen. I took off the straps and used nylon ties to hang three caribiners at the right height on the screen. If you hang it on the inside and put rain gear in the pockets it acts like a head rest.

I purchased the two gun unit QX-523164 and removed the head rest - installed the unit on the inside which makes the unit a head rest. It has pockets on the inside where you can store extra clothes or equipment. They also have a stand that mounts on the floor board that holds two long guns that works well. They have a lot of new items for the UTV. Jerry

I also took the advise of Andrew, and purchased one of these, and very happy we did so. It keeps the third rifle, which is usally used for shootin' wild boars. And the big pockets, is used as head rest also..... I done this instead of purchasing the head rest from Kubota, and very happy I took his advise.... It also carries extra cartridges, GoLight remote, Sirus radio remote and small items needed ..... ( Remotes in the cup holders really doesn't work for me, always feel like one is going to " jump " out !!!!!

I ended up with the removable floor moun from Rugged Gear

When not mounted there is just a floorplate

I ended up getting it from Cabelas
