Sorry to hear about losing your 4 footed pal. Hoofed, clawed, or winged, (sometimes finned)pets are real parts of the family and it always hurts to lose them. Since she lived 34 years someone showed her great care and affection and made her days on earth joyful. She'll soon fill your heart with wonderful memories for years to come...</P>

Oh Easy Chair, I am so so sorry to hear of this.I know that God in Heaven will have waiting on us those special "friends" we hold so dear.Tracks Polly Sue will have a memorial made in hername to the localWildlife Rescue {I participate in this}This way, happy times can be remembered whenever you hear that special bird song that reminds you of the good times together with her. Your Friend, Bordercollie

EZ - Sorry to hear about losing such a close friend.

I was not an animal lover till we picked up a chocolate lab almost 13 years ago. I have become so attached to Buddy that I will be truly heart broke when he leaves us. I work from my home (when not on an airplane) and he follows my every step. Seems to know when I'm getting stressed and comes over to nudge me as if to say "don't sweat this stuff. that's not what life is about. Now get your priorities in line and spend some time scratching behind my ears"

I am now a convert and will never be without a dog. I now see how they can be therapeutic to those in need of support or unconditional love.
