Saw this on Craiglist and can't figure it out. Seller never answered my email so I leave to you all to figure it out. Would be nice in winter if it blew heat back in cab!!:drink:

Well it would certainly get more airflow up high like that. It would not work for me as I stack wood that high in my 900.

I would think it would take the little diesel a long time to warm up all that coolant and you talk about a vapor lock getting all the air out of it and the motor needs to hold some of it's heat to operate correctly.

In the stock location, it is very easy to "hole" the radiator if running in heavy brush or stubble.
The stock metal cover has slits in it that will separate and not only allow a stick through, but will hold it in place.

On a second look it appears to be a crossflow radiator mounted vertically. That would not flow too well in my opinion. But I was wrong once or twice before!

Looks pretty hack to me

:agree:

I dunno why you would need to do that. Our RTV's don't even get close to warm.
On second thought, I'm in the middle of replacing another rock-damaged radiator. We drive at high speed on gravel all the time, and by the look of the photo background that dude might have the same issue.
