Well I had it out with my dealer because they flat out lied to me. They said they changed my springs to the heavy ones (I paid for) on my 2012 900 XT .It was hanging like an old porn star with the plow on the front. I didn't know what to do, but I did know from what I read here that with the heavy springs everything was good.
I called Kubota's main parts place and asked them to pull light and heavy springs off the shelf. They did and told me the light ones had a white dot on the springs and the heavy ones had a red dot. So I had proof I was lied to, and man was I pizzed!! Let me just say they drove out (40 miles) to my place and picked up my rig and had it back that afternoon, WITH MY HEAVY SPRINGS.
If you don't have a dealer who you really trust, I will say mine were on the level of a piss poor used car salesman, don't trust a word that comes out of their mouth.
I don't know about the 1100 but I do know allot of dealers. I would say call the main Kubota parts place and ask them to check the shelf and see what they have. Mine had one dot per spring about the size of a dime on em. Good luck
