RTV Storage

TWO GUNS

For some of you that kinda new at the RTV thingy.

Storage under the hood is great. Go to dollar store and pick you up a plastic container like in the photo below. (or something simular).
The container needs a drain hole on the corner of the lower end.
We keep snatch blocks, gloves, all kinds of "extra" stuff. We even keep
spare ammo in ours most of the time.( that has come in handy on good hog hunts.
Zip tie them in. Can install several under the hood !!!!

Post Script : The little green "stick 'em light" comes in handy to at nightime in the swamps !!!!

If you live in a northern/cold climate, I'd go with something a little better who's plastic is softer (Rubbermaid?). Those dollar store tubs get really brittle in freezing temps and have a tendency to crack.

Uh oh , Mark has lost his hood. ;) . Don't fear Mark though, Two Guns might find it in the swamps down his way. all sorts of things in there- I have actually heard of pirate booty hidden in there- my high school English teacher said so anyway :) haha
Seriously, those oem boxes are way over priced -- bordercollie

LOL No telling what you can find in the swamp.
Maybe a couple of them over priced Boxes that no 1 will buy lol

Office Depot has a good assortment of reasonably durable plastic stowage bins ... various sizes and shapes ... latches to keep lid secured. Easy to mount using 3M Dual Lock fastening strips. Lotsa good room beneath that hood.

The red coke flats secured with zip ties work for me. Bank zipper bags to keep gloves and winch remote clean.

Hey Pumpkin! That is also a good idea. I just use a canvas toolbag x 2. I think I have everything but the kitchen sink under there and do have a bowl for my helpers water. and uh a can of emergency sardines for me-I will share it with 'em in case we get delayed getting home. :) bordercollie
