Looking for the length of the front propeller shaft. Maybe someone has a RTV400 and could go pull a quick measurement for me? See image for what dimensions I am needing. Easiest dimension to pull would be from the weld on each end of the round shaft.
I asked Messicks for the dimension but they said they did not have the part in stock, and that Kubota wont give them dimensions.
My RTV400 did not have a front shaft when I bought it used, now im trying to replace it to make the 4x4 work. I was able to source a new shaft on this forum but it seems way too long and I just want to verify it is in fact correct length. I can have it shorted at my work but I just need to know by how much it would need to be shortened. Or maybe it is the right length and I'm just not doing something right! Any help greatly appreciated.
