I just received a letter from KTC for a recall of sorts on my RTV 100 C. it seems there may be a problem with the fuel tank seam. just a heads up

I received the same letter today for my X900. It is considered a Service Action Notice - meaning that Kubota will deal with the inspections as the machines are brought in for normal service. Not sure how this affects those of us that don't use dealer service, but it does say to keep a look out for leaks along the seam and if something develops take action.

In other words, check the floor for drips. Sniff for Diesel fumes. If neither, continue as before.

Got the letter yesterday. I'll wait until the 100-hr. service. So far (about 360 miles on the odometer), no leaks. I keep the 1100 in the garage, and I would have noticed smell and wet spots on the floor. So, are they going to change the tank on all of them?

Received mine yesterday. No drips or diesel smell yet. On the bummer side, it goes back to dealer next week for what I think is an A/C problem. It works just fine, but when the compressor or what every kicks on, it sucks the power right out of it. This is new, no problem before.

Mine has done that from day one!!! And they told me it was normal. Can't wait to hear what they tell you.

I have the x900, I actually enjoyed pushing snow this year with a cab. Now if I lived in the north east with all their snow, that might be a different story.

With my 2013 I haven't noticed a drop in power with the A/C on , and driving up some pretty significant slopes. It loses a small bit of power but nothing really noticeable. Of course, I have to back of the pedal a bit to kick in the aux drive pump coming up my drive normally.

YMMV

Not normal, it just started this nonsense. Up until now you would never have known when the compressor kicked on whether I was just running around or out playing and climbing hills in the canyon.
