anyone here have any experience with one of those jetter things that goes on a pressure washer? I have a 300 foot line that is restricted with mostly sediment i need to clean out so i bought one and need advice from those with experience.:shitHitsFan:
 
Be careful....my neighbor was useing one to open drain tile in his vineyard and injected water into his hand from the high pressure jet head......he was pulling the hose out of the pipe and didnt think he was close to the end where the jet was attached......the lesson learned is to mark the flex hose about 10 feet from the jet end......when you get to that mark turn off pump then pull the rest out......also feed into pipe before turning on pump so it doesnt fly all over and hit you......ware heavy gloves and eye protection.....the jet head has rear faceing jets that propel it forward along with front jets that blast the clog.....you have to work the hose back and forth as the jet head pulls itself into the pipe and eats through the clog.....they work pretty good......just be careful......Len

well i finished with the jetter. and i have to say it is a very good tool to have or be able to rent. i cleaned out a major problem that has been aggravating for years.

here ya go!! i got the 200 foot 3/8 hose and reel because i have several long runs of 4 inch and bigger. i also used it in a run of 2 inch about 75 feet long and it worked great. you need at least 4 gpm and 4000 psi for the tough stuff and a garden hose will just supply enough inlet to the pump so i couldn't go bigger. if you have a pressure washer already you can make your own. i plan to use it for washing also.:wave:
 
Thanks! I think my pressure washer is only about 2800 PSI and 2.8 gallons but my longest run is only about 40' so it may work.
I'm going to search that site for the hose and nozzle only and try my current pressure washer.

I found this very helpful,especially the hose recommendations for loss of GPM and pressure. then use the site i gave you and order some hose and a tip you should be good to go. "hint" smaller hose isn't better and jetter hose is different from washer hose. i don't think you need the reel.:whistling:
