Side View Mirrors

Ryan,

I don't believe there is anything on the tire other than the bead set psi.

I know many that have the Bighorns and have never heard of a blowout or other damage due to either weight or pressure.

I've had a lot of weight in the box (whatever an overflowing load of crushed limestone weighs) and the tires didn't seem to even notice.

I'm a new RTV owner in Kentucky and like the looks of your Wrangler mirrors. I have a Wrangler with similiar mirrors but not sure how to mount on the RTV. Did you bore holes in the ROPs for mounting? Appreciate your feedback.

Welcome to the forum Newman!

I'll let Bovs elaborate on his mirror install.

I'd like to propose you avoid drilling into your ROPS. Let's see how the Bovs did it but also take a look on the forum (or even e-bay) for "O-Clamp" They fit very nicely on the ROPS.

I a few days ago ordered a ATTWOOD SKI-MIRROR..... Going to try to keep my mirrors on the inside. Would like to have them outside but the limbs and branches will tear mine off in just a minute or two in the woods. I seen these and was willing to give them a try, they were 21.95 on ebay & at sportmans guide. I will see in a few days how it works out ...</P>

I installed a 5 panel mirror that I bought on ebay. So far it works great....the field of view extends way out on both sides of my rtv.... in the box there are an assortment of mounting attachments. I have a stock plastic roof that is held in place with u bolts. The mirror's mounting brackets slipped under the u bolts and when tightened down is held firmly.
